Installation

The programs are all self-extracting files and they all create temporary folders and clean up after themselves. It is recommended that you "open these files from the current location" if that option is available. Otherwise, download the files to a location that you know, like your desktop.

If your Internet security settings are set to Maximum, you must change the setting to "Medium Security" or less in order to download these files.

If you purchased Advantage Plus and other programs, install Advantage Plus first. Then, install any wheeling programs to the same folder, so Advantage Plus can work with the other programs.

The new Wheel Gold programs have only one install file. When you enter your install codes, it will open the programs you purchased, and the other programs will only be available as a demo version.

Download Codes

Install codes will only work with the program and version they are created for. Be sure you are installing the correct program and program version with its corresponding codes. For example, if your codes are for Wheel Six Gold, they will not work if you try to install Wheel Six Plus, and vice versa. Also, make sure to enter all information exactly as written including capitalization and punctuation. See our FAQ for more about entering install codes.

Program Manuals

Our program manuals are offered electronically rather than in printed format. Manuals require Adobe Acrobat reader in order to read/print. They do not require passwords, keys or serial numbers. The same manual is used for all three of the wheel plus programs. The new FFWG and FWGP programs do not have pdf manuals, but there is extensive help built into the program. Press F1 within the program to access the manual. The new Wheel Gold programs will eventually have a built-in help like FFWG, which will be a free update when available. There is currently no manual for these programs, but there are popup hover hints to get you familiar with the functions of the program.

Lotto History

Lottery history files are not automatically installed when you install our programs. You can use Lottery Updater to download our lotto history files. For the wheeling programs, you can also download and install the SLHEdit program for free. This program will allow you to access your downloaded history files so you can use the history features within the wheeling programs, even without Advantage Plus installed.

Trojan or Virus False Warning

Some anti-virus programs have erroneously marked that the core of our software installer which is embedded in each install program on our web site and CD's are infected by some trojan virus or worm. We assure you that there HAS NEVER been any virus or worm associated with any of our software. If you see this message, the ONLY way you will be able to install our program is to turn off the anti-virus program, install our software, and then turn it back on. See FAQ about Viruses for more info.

Windows-32 Error

If you download a file and get an error message that says something like "not a Windows-32 application", then the file is incomplete. Try downloading the file again. If you can't get the complete file within a few tries, email us and request which program you'd like us to send you. Also, if installing Advantage Plus, make sure you are running a 32-bit version of Windows, as Advantage Plus will not run on 64-bit.

Software Backups

After installing your program, we recommend you make a CD-RW backup of the entire c:\gh folder AFTER the programs are installed. That way if you have to restore the files later because of a virus or hard drive crash, you can use the CD to get back the files without regard to the authorization codes. When you use the free patch upgrades on your files, just re-copy the data to the CD-RW so that if you need to re-install, the program files will be current.

The installation keys that unlock these files are version specific. We have included the previous version download links above. If your version is older than those listed and you did not make a backup or purchase an install cd, you can purchase an upgrade. Please print the email you received with your instructions and codes and keep with your important records in case of computer failure.
