Canada Max (Lotto/Western/Quebec) GAME CHANGES

Canada has made changes to their LOTTO MAX games. Lotto Max, Quebec Max, and Western Max have added another number to the format. Numbers will be drawn from a range of 1-50. Drawings will now be twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays.

The maximum LOTTO MAX jackpot will increase to $70 million! Additional MAXMILLIONS draws will continue to kick in once the jackpot reaches $50 million. Two new prize categories (5 of 7 +Bonus and 4 of 7 +Bonus) will be added. The price of LOTTO MAX tickets will remain the same.

We have made new game files to reflect the updated number format. Note that you will need to download the new files, as the old ones will no longer be updated – they cannot accept numbers greater than 49 without file property changes. If you use Favorites in Lottery Updater, you will need to go to change your favorites to select the new files.

Kentucky Quick Bucks NEW GAME

The Kentucky Quick Bucks new lotto game began on 2/24/2019. This game is a bit different in that the order that the numbers are drawn matters for the top prize. For this reason, we have made a special case for this game file and it is saved in drawn number order instead of sorted, so you can see if you won.

Each Kentucky’s Quick Bucks play costs $1. To play the game, you choose four numbers from 1-31 and one Kentucky Ball number from 1-5. The computer will assign the order of your four numbers on your ticket. Match winning numbers in exact order or any order. Select the Wheel Bet to play all 5 Kentucky Balls with your four numbers for 5 chances to win and a guaranteed minimum prize of $2. The Wheel Bet costs $5.

The odds of winning the Quick Bucks jackpot are one in 3,775,800. That means matching all 4 numbers in exact order, as well as getting the KY ball correct. The prize for this is up to $50,000. If you miss the KY ball, your prize is only $1,000 for 4 winning numbers in the right order. And if you get all 4 numbers plus the KY ball, but don’t have them in the right order, you win $100.

Florida Jackpot Triple Play NEW GAME

Florida Jackpot Triple Play 6/46 is Florida’s newest pick-6 Lotto game which replaced the old Lucky Money game in February 2019. Because you get 3 plays for a dollar, they claim the odds per ticket are one in 3,122,273. (Florida Fantasy 5 is a much better bet.) You choose six numbers from 1 to 46 to play and there are no bonus or powerball numbers drawn in this game. A second and third set of numbers will be automatically generated for you to give you your triple play. For an extra chance to win up to $10,000 by combining winning number matches from all three sets of numbers, pick the Combo box for $1 more. Drawings are held twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays.

The jackpot starts at $500,000 and can roll over to up to $2 million if there isn’t a jackpot winner. Once the jackpot reaches $2 million, and there is no jackpot winner, the excess money in the jackpot prize pool rolls down and increases the payouts on all of the lower-tier prize levels each drawing until the jackpot is won.

Texas Cash Five GAME CHANGE

Texas Cash Five has changed number format to remove 2 balls from the number-field. It is now a 5/35 (previously 5/37). On September 24, 2018, the first drawing under the new format was held. The odds of winning the game are down to one in 324,632. The top prize will be $25,000, except when there are 4 or more winners when a maximum payout of $75,000 will be divided into equal shares.

We have started a new game file for this game, which can be used with Advantage Gold and other Smart Luck lottery software. The old game file will no longer be updated. If you use favorites in Lottery Updater, you will need to select the new game files. Our software will work the same with the new file as they did with the old file. You will just need to wait a few months for more drawings to build up with the new format in order for the medium and long-term trend charts to be useful. Wheel Five Gold will still work using any wheel with 35 or fewer total numbers.
