A: "NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction" appears to be an error that's not directly related to our programs and we've never personally seen the error, so we do not
have experience fixing it directly.
Customer Solution
One of our customers has given us the following instructions:
- Right click on the Advantage Plus desktop icon and select Properties.
- Go to the "Screen" tab , and click the button next to "Window"
in the Usage section.
- Click "Apply" and "OK" to close the box.
Another Possible Solution
You can also try running the program directly from the install folder instead of using the shortcut.
Double click on gail.exe in the C:\GH folder.
