A: For many errors with Lottery Updater, you may need to delete the file slhhttp.ini. Use one of these sets of instructions to locate the file. We offer multiple ways of locating a file so you can choose the method that works for you and your computer.

Search for the File on Windows XP

If you are using Windows XP:
Click START, then SEARCH, then click All Files and Folders then, in the box that says "All or Part of the Filename", type: c:\gh\slhhttp.ini and then click SEARCH again. The file should show up in the window on the right almost immediately.

Search for the File on Windows Vista or Windows 7

If you are using Vista/7:
Click the blue windows icon in the bottom left, and type over "start search" or "search programs" text box (at the bottom of the start menu) the name of the ini file, c:\gh\slhhttp.ini. It should show up as the only file in the list above it.

Navigate to the C:\GH Folder on Windows XP

Find My Computer on your desktop if it is there or by clicking the Start button on the bottom left and clicking My Computer in the list. Either type c:\gh\ in the Address bar near the top of the window, or click the C: drive in the list, then the GH folder. You should see slhhttp.ini in the list of files.

Navigate to the C:\GH Folder on Windows 7/Vista

Find Computer on your desktop if it is there or by clicking the blue windows icon on the bottom left and clicking Computer in the list. Either type c:\gh\ in the Address bar near the top of the window, or click the C: drive in the list, then the GH folder. You should see slhhttp.ini in the list of files.

Deleting slhhttp.ini

Once you locate the file in the correct folder, delete it by right-clicking on the file and choosing delete or clicking the file and pressing the Delete key. Then run Lottery Updater again, and the problem should be solved.
