The Quick Stats lotto chart in Advantage Gold shows the average skips for each number. Average skips tells the average number of drawings that were skipped or missed between hits for each lotto number. Average skips are calculated by taking the sum of all the skips for a lotto number and dividing by the number of hits. For example, if lotto number 5 skipped 5 drawings and hit on drawing #6, then skipped 1 drawing and hit on drawing #8, then skipped 9 drawings and hit on drawing #16, then the average skips would be (5 + 1 + 9)/3 = 5.
