A: If you're seeing
an error message that Lottery Updater can't connect to Smart Luck,
first, please check to see what version of Lottery Updater you are
running. The version number shows in the bottom right corner of the
window. The version should be 2.0.1.38. If you show an older version,
click here to download the new version
and select RUN to install the new program. The new version should not have
any problems, but if there are, please tell us exactly what is happening.
If you are showing the new version, be sure that your internet
connection is working and that you have allowed the program to connect
in your firewall settings. See the other FAQs in this section.
If you are showing the new version, don't think you have a firewall
problem, and are still showing a connection problem, try going to the
folder where Advantage Plus is installed (usually C:
\gh) and delete
slhhttp.ini. This is the file that Lottery Updater creates after you
run it for the first time, so when you run it again after the file is
deleted, it will take several minutes to locate the program again. You
will have to go to setup to reselect your files, but hopefully that
will fix the problem.
If you're still having trouble, don't forget about our other methods of downloading
history files:
complete usa, international, or keno lottery sets
or
individual history files.
