Update: Powerball High Jackpot $435 Million Won!

Update: For the Wednesday, February 22nd drawing, one winning ticket sold for $435M Powerball jackpot in Lafayette, Indiana. The winning numbers were 10-13-28-52-61 and Powerball 2. The jackpot drops back to $40 million for the drawing Saturday night.

Powerball has been on a rolling streak again.  The jackpot is currently estimated at $403 Million for the next drawing on Wednesday, February 22, 2017. The lump-sum cash payout value of Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot is estimated to be $243.9 million — the 12th-largest lottery prize in US history. The last Powerball jackpot to be won was last year on Nov 26, 2016, which also happened to be a $403 million jackpot. There have been 24 drawings with no jackpot winner since then.

No one matched the six numbers drawn Saturday night, but the latest Powerball winning numbers were 3-7-9-31-33, and the Powerball, 20. If no one wins again, the jackpot will climb even more rapidly.
